Hi everyone,
First of all I'd like to congratulate the FT team for such a piece of work. Really impressive! As many of you around here, I am having lots of problems making the Wiimote work on FT 2.2. I've read every post concerning the Wiimote but still no luck. I am running FT on a Windows Vista Ultimate edition, with a BT 2.0 dongle, Widcomm 6 and an original Wiimote. I have the same issues most of you are experiencing, that is, FT recognizes the Wiimote in the Camera menu but the "Start" button is not available. The strangest thing is that my Wiimote is recognized by Widcomm and I am able to work with Glovepie and WiimoteTest. This is really frustrating since WiimoteTest is able to get data from accelerometers, IR camera, buttons, etc. I am no expert on this subject (reason why I am here in this forum) but I understand that if both GlovePie and WiimoteTest are working and data is being transfered, FT should be working as well. Any thoughts or suggestions?? Regards, |

The problem it's due to the program that you use to connect the wiimote.
I was try with microsoft program and Logitech program, and not solution. At end I was take the program ITV Bluesoleil (15€), to connect the wiimote with PC, and all its perfect. Try! I will try the Glovepie to use instead off freetrack, but I don't know if it possible.... (sorry for my English!!!) |

Thank you Kike. I did try the free version of Bluesoleil, but seemed like it was not compatible with my dongle. I'll try a previous version to check if it works.

Ok., the problem about ITV Bluesoleil its the instalation.
First, I was use google translation to explain all....I'm sorry again for my English: The installation program must make ITV BlueSoleil as follows: - Completely uninstall any version of BlueSoleil and do you have a clean of regist. CCClean for example its a good system to do this,. Reboot after. - After restarting the PC, unplug the device bluethoot. - Install BlueSoleil and restart it again (with the bluethoot disconnected!). - Install the patches you create convenient to use the BlueSoleil (repeat, with the bluethoot system disconnected !). - Once installed patches restarted. After this reboot the system connects bluethoot again, wait a bit, and Windows will detect and install it again. At this point you BlueSoleil worked perfectly, detecting in this way the bluethoot system. I have used the latest version of BlueSoleil, and I only have problems attracting leds that are now almost resolved modifiying freetrack.ini file. And again....Im sorry for this English |
