Hello...  I've recently stumbled across this while doing research for the simpit that I am currently planning, and obviously this would be great to include...  As it turns out, I found a Sony Eyetoy at a local Gamestop for $5, so I snapped that up for the webcam, now a question for the headclip...  I have a Coleman headlamp that has an LED flashlight mounted to one side on a pivot...  I pulled it apart, and it would be quite simple to convert it to a 1 LED headset.  Now, I don't THINK it would make a diff, but I wanted to get some confirmation from those in the know.  The only 2DOF sets I've seen are center mounted LEDs, will it be a problem with the 1 LED mounted on the side of the head as opposed to the top/middle?  I know 6DOF/3 LED is much nicer, but it just seems for my particular use and the games we plan on playing, 2DOF is plenty, so I'm not going to go 6DOF quite yet.

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated...

so, let's assume the led is mounted on the right side. would it still be visible to the webcam, if you turned your head to the right?
if the answer is "no", then yes, it will be a problem.
