Hi,

last week i finally completed my 3 point cap, everything works ok but i have a question.

i get a lot of unwanted PITCH (downward) when moving my head sideways, it's like if i tilt my head a little every time i look left or right.

i have made some settings adjustment to decrease the PITCH (setting it to 0.2 or something like that) but that means that the PITCH is almost completely disabled, and i don't want that.

Is this due that fact that my camera is a lot higher then my head (see sketch)?

I made a video where the problem is visible in the first few seconds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QAz-d6uHqA

Let me know what you guys think...  :gene:

This is perfectly normal, its games issue. This game does not have free 6dof. For example there are only two zoom positions isnt it?, there are also 2 pitch positions.
The left and right is almost free but when you go far lef or far right it pitches down, thats more easy to observe in closed hood cars.

Your system seems stable.

For full free 6dof try ship simulator for example or modded IL1942.

gtr evo / race07 has FULL 6DOF support as far as i know !!!!

i also sometimes have unwanted pitch issues.

it comes from "unperfect" model dimensions.

try to set exact model dimensions in the model tab of FT.

u can also try to point camera slighty different up- or downwards.

I didnt say that there is NO 6DOF, I've said there is no free 6DOF.

If you look left, its not clear left but left with head down.

thanks for the reply's, i tweaked the model dimensions a bit at i still have somewhat of unwanted pitch but i think i just have to make do... Nonetheless it's a little bit better then before  :)

When i position the camera exactly in front of my face i get perfect results... the only problem is that the camera is then in front of the monitor :D
