I just stumbled upon a string of LED christmas lights that my wife bought for $4.00 US.
They are blue and run off of a lightweight box that holds 3 AAA batteries with an on/off switch. I cut the wire after the 3rd light and saving the rest for replacements if I ever need them. The lights are spread out about 3-4 inches apart which is perfect for a cap setup.
The wife is currently sewing a pocket on the back of my hat to hold the box and then I'll tape the the lights on the rim.
Just thought I'd throw this in here for people as a cheap way of making a quick setup.
I'll post a pic or 2 in the future (when I find my camera).

So, does this mean that it don't have to be the exact type Osram SFH485P?
I can use any IR LED?
Because i can't find this exact model in my country, and online ordering is long and painfull process here.
