hi FT-Friends,  :D

I`ve throuble with my Force Feedback joystick (sidewinder with gameport connection)

Normaly the Joystick has a center-force when windows is started. When FS2004 starts the force stopps and the stick can be left in any position wichout centering itselfs. When I start a flight the stick is centered by the air pressing against the steering-wings. As it is in real life.

When I start FT2.2 there is a center-force imidietly and this is not changing in the flight. The stick is allways coming back to the center. Sometimes the force is so strange that I cant fly and sometimes the stick is bumping sidewards every second.

Does  somebody else have these problems? Perhaps my Joystick is out of order or my installation is strange.

In FT 2.1 there is no effect like that.

Thanky for any reply

Hi,

it's a known problem with the last version. It seems it's caused by a directX issue. I don't think people found a fix for this issue, I'm sorry. Maybe it'll be corrected in a future patch...?
