Below is an image of access violation error message I'm getting with 2.2:

Strange thing about this error - program continues to work fine.  I did uninstall/reinstall 2.2 after getting error message the first time, but it came back.

If anyone has an answer and/or fix for this I'd appreciate it.  Thanks!

Does it help to mention that I'm using VX3000?  Game is rFactor.  I've researched for info on "ole32.dll" but it doesn't do me all that much good.  FT continues after the error message so its not all bad, but the error pop-up appears at very annoying times - like league qualifying.  I'd like to fix or disable if possible.  Thanks.

Ok, same error for me, but I'm using a Philips Toucam pro.
The game is Rfactor even for me...every time I start Rfactor after a race I cannot press esc to back in menu because RFactor freeze and FT get this annoying message of "violation"

Hi Luca,

I don't think we're ever going to get response to this problem - 2.2 must have bigger issues to deal with.

I have learned you can ctrl-alt-del to get out of rFactor & close the offending "violation" message.  I run two monitors and all I need to do is click out of game to close the message - its a pain, but it works for awhile.

Learned something else yesterday regarding VX3000 - stick with the 1.4 driver and not anything newer posted on MS site.  Anything 2.x won't allow "auto" to truly be turned off for both exposure & bandwidth, regardless of what tool you use.  Not good for FT.

problem solved!
Was the hdr plugin for rfactor, I've deleted the d3d9.dll and the enbseries.ini installed by the hdr mod and all works perfectly!

Nice find Luca.  There are several rFactor mods that use versions of d3d9.dll so odds are they will all impact FT the same way.  I'm sure you figured out that my suggestion wouldn't help much either - with the HDR plugin you can't alt-tab out of rFactor - game won't return.

I'm not running any mods with d3d9.dll - and I'm working with fresh installs of both WinXP & rFactor - but I'm still getting the error message.  Think I've tracked it to nVidia driver but I can't find a solution - bummer.
