hello....first of all, HUGE thnx for the people who came up with freetrack- simply amazing

i got a few questions i wanna ask you guys coz im new to this.
well i have made my 3-point cap model, dialed in the dimensions, messed around with profile settings and global settings a bit and im stuck. the cam recognizes all 3 LED's perfectly with solid green circles all the time.  in the Skull
window everything works fine- when i slide my head to left, the skull slides it to the left, when i bring my head closer to the cam-skull zooms in(first person view)...but when i launch il-2 1946,only the X,Y axis work...i am unable to slide my head left/right, up/down, zoom in/out. anyone had this trouble before? i dont know why IL-2 doesnt recognize ALL axis because in the SKULL preview in FreeTrack 2.2 works perfectly.

also when i fly in Il-2 1946, and when i look back right/left, my view gets stuck there, so i have to move my head quite a lot to centre  for view to switch- but when it switches, the view turns really fast, making hard to track planes. ..its kinda like a deadzone in back-right, back-right-up, back-left, back-left-up

another question is why FreeTrack 2.2 is not working in Aces High 2? i have went into Aces High game options and checked the option to enable TrackIr, but  nothing happens in the game.

this software is pretty damn nice- and even flying with 2 degrees of freedom is much nicer than using hat switch all the time..but i still hope to use this program to its full potential..

yes, IL2 does not support 6DOF.. however, there is a mod that fixes this and switches it to 6dof instead of 2dof only...

but for Aces High... dunno dude, i dont have the game..

I just downloaded 2.2 and it works just fine in Aces High. Having gone thru what I assume is the standard learning curve of tweaking the build for the cap and adjusting basic profile etc within an hour I had it playable. Biggest issue is going to be finding a set of inputs that allows a good set of rear views...but it works just fine overall in AH
