I finnaly have FreeTrack 2.2 working and I must say I am quite impressed. The road to get to this point was very rough, however.

PROS:
1) Incredible precision tracking. No more "bouncing around" or "jumping"
2) The point size pixel parameters really help block unwanted light.
3) FreeTrack doesn't crash when there's excessive light or if your model goes outside the screen area.
4) No more "un trackable area like down-right pitch"
5) No more NAN on axis.
6) High FPS and no Jitter.

Cons:
1)  no instruction to get freetrack to recognize points. (fixed by changing to I420 resolution and altering point pixels)
2) no indicators about how to properly set the point pixels (learned by trial and error)
3) No documentation to help out with topics such as these ^.
4) No documentation!
5) Accessing camera parameters requires opening up FreeTrack 2.1

I would like to thank the devs for releasing arguably the best head tracking software. Overall, 2.2 is 200% of what 2.1 was like, and I thank you for the improvements. Please do not take my criticism harshly, as I am trying to address points that many of us commonly have.

Thanks FreeTrack!

yes I saw the help tab when I made my profile. There was a lot of good stuff in there but I think it would be better to have a pdf or something that serves as a "Dumb Man's Reference" to explain the basics like IR pixel parameters and I420 vs RGB-24 resolution as well as what you need to know to get FreeTrack software to properly track your model. I felt that even though the help tab helped to some extent, it was still hit and miss for me.

Thanks FreeTrack2.2 crew for the awesome program, time, and effort!
