Hi all,

I built my 3 point cap about a month ago, but when I turned my head from left to right I would lose tracking. So tonight I decided to sand the LEDs down more, because when I had done it before I didn't go down too far.

I used a dremel tool with a sander bit on about half power. I've read here on the forum that you should sand down to just above the metal. I didn't feel safe about going that far down, so I'm well above the filament, but look what happened...

The LEDs are grey now... Did I shave away some kind of coloring layer? Is there a way I can make FreeTrack reognize grey instead of red?  ;D

Also, what's with the grey bar at the bottom? I don't remember that before I shaved my LEDs.

Yes.

I can move it all the way up and all the way down. No change in color or size of the LEDs.

Overall, the performance of the newly shaved LEDs is a hundred times better than before; except that they don't work.  ;D

Well it's not the shaving that's caused them to change to grey, I'm not sure what it is.  I had the exact same issue then changed an output setting or something and they returned to red and now work fine.

I'm sorry I can't give more details but seems it's another bug that WE the beta testers are finding.

Just change your  STREAM compression method to RGB24, your webcam may not work good with i420.
