Hi.

The problem is this:
When I press the Start button, all CPU power is used up, and the program jams so that I can't do anything, but the skull graphics and everything else works.  I just can't click anything.

My system is a fairly powerful (core 2 e6600 @ 2,88GHz) so I can't believe it would be too slow for FreeTrack.

I noticed a weird phenomenon too! When I cover the skull animation with any other window, the CPU power is released! .. so it's the skull animation that jams the program. Can I switch the animation off from some configuration file?

Using the latest drivers (for my oldish ati x1900xt).

Another weird thing is, that I've used FreeTrack before, with no problems.. this is a new problem... maybe a windows re-install would help...  :snif:
