Hi,

i got the vx 3000, can someone give me a hint how to disable the auto exposure?  i cant uncheck the box. i have seen the link on the frontpage for a hack for the vx 1000 (suiteable for 3000 as well?) but i dont know where to find a file on this strange site, perhaps the owner moved? your advice is very appreciated :)

thx

Look at the VX1000's(or 3000) line, there's a link to download Enable Button

hey

sorry for digging out this old thread

i am trying to use a QuickCam® Communicate™ STX for my freetrack setup but i cant disable auto exposure. im using it on Vista home premium 32 bit which i know, isnt really supported by the camera. but i got it working (ie i can see the image in the quickcam program) but when i go into the settings i cant change anything and the rightLight tab (where i suspect the auto exposure setting) is entirely empty.
i tried enable button but no luck. is there a way to disable the auto exsposure manually, ie changing sth in a config file? or is there a third party driver i can use?

thank you
