Class : Apprenti Posts : 9 Registered on : 13/08/2008 Off line	Hi all. Is game's profile existent to allow freetrack to use in game? I've tried to play with IL2-Sturmovik but this profile seems doesn't exist over the internet, so I've used IL2-1946 profile instead, but I didnt able to display it in FT's profile game list. As result, IL2 seems doesnt recognise my FT device. Class : Electronicien en chef Posts : 651 Registered on : 10/07/2007 Off line	hello sysman 1st : Try to make your game recognise FT without using profiles, just stick to the default setup. Then create a new profile for your IL2 Since IL2 and IL21946 share the same interface method, your connection problem lies somewhere else. Check this please : - output mode : trackir compatible (only this output mode !!!!) - axis : all enabled - hotkey programmed for centering (you'll need it once in the game) start freetrack before starting IL2 , since trackir detection is made at IL2 start. Freetrack must be recognised automatically by IL2 (trackir compliance). Once in the plane always start by centering, then try to move your head...... cya

I dont understand how set axis since all options are set to "none", why this?? how do I set those axis?? Class : Electronicien en chef Posts : 651 Registered on : 10/07/2007 Off line	output tab : trackir : enable mouse : disable ppjoy : disable keys : disable simconnect : disable fsuipc : disable profile tab : if stock IL2 : enable yaw and pitch if 6DOF mod IL2 : enable all axis keys tab : center : just click in input field, then press key you want to assign thats all, enjoy IF THIS DOESN'T WORK : check your IL2 config file : In your IL2 install dir, search for CONF.INI file. In CONF.INI file, look for [rts] part in [rts] part, you should find the following line : trackIRUse=1 if you don't find it , add it. if this line is set to 0 , set it to 1 save file and play game output mode: set to trackir and enabled mouse. You don't need mouse output in IL2, TIR mode is the only output mode needed. If TIR mode doesn't work, you have a problem somewhere else. Check IL2 config file as described , and eventually try to reinstall Freetrack. cya
